Tonight’s Soccer Aid 2014 game in Manchester at the Old Trafford stadium is another one for the record books. Almost 70,000 fans witnessed Stephen Moyer’s Team England play a great game of footy against The Rest of the World Team. Sadly, Team England lost the game to The Rest of the World who scored 4 goals to England’s 2.
It was a shame that Team England lost, but we were consoled when we saw that this year’s Soccer Aid 2014 had raised £4.2 million by the end of the night.

Stephen Moyer was first seen getting off the bus with his fellow teammates wearing a suit and being interviewed before entering the stadium:

In the locker room, Team England suited up and posed for the photo below, just prior to walking out onto the field:

We next saw Stephen in the Team England lineup greeting the opposing team members before the start of the game.

The game was rather slow to get going with no score for quite a while, but once it did get going, it was very active and time seemed to pass by really quickly. When half time came, and we still hadn’t seen Stephen play, we assumed he’d see some action in the second half. As play began again, we knew it wouldn’t be long before we’d see him on the field when we saw him and Dominic Cooper warming up.

Stephen was in the game during the last few minutes, right before the final goal, so we didn’t get to see him on the field as much as we would have liked. However, we were glad that there were no injuries and he had performed well during his time on the field.

Watch the video below where Stephen gets ready by warming up and in the second half you see him play:
