Verdict on Stella’s Last Weekend
Stella’s Last Weekend is a romantic comedy following two brothers who discover they like the same girl. However, the oldest one missed his chance in the past, leading to him reflecting on what could have been. Can the brothers figure out the best solution before making a big mistake?
This movie lacks any humor and ends up putting us through a group of truly unlikable characters. While there seems to be a message about understand how to make the most of life, it seems complicating for the sake of it. It never makes a bigger enough point to what is going on between the characters or make us remotely care about them. The sadest thing about this movie, is it is meant to be more about the brothers last weekend with their family pet and barely any focus is placed on it.
