This was a bit of a fail on my part. While in Lodz, I visited a supermarket looking for a wine Produced in Poland and this wine had a label on the shelf in front of it say ‘Product of Poland’. Not having my reading glasses to hand, I just picked it up and added it to my shopping basket. Back at my hotel I discovered that it was Moldovan wine and I was not put off because I had had some very good wines when I visited Moldova.
This wine was not a good Moldovan wine. It was over sweet with added sugars and even when very cold it still tasted like sugary water with no flavor profile at all.
