Blueberry silk shirt, Popbasic; Embellished cigarette jeans, 7 For All Mankind; Tan sandals, Zara; Origami fox necklace, LHC Jewellery; Mulberry Alexa in Petticoat White and Rose Gold.
Hello hello from Chez DB and sorry for the radio silence in these parts over Easter. Too much chocolate consumption and some family time was a’happening - how else would a long weekend pan out for a Chai, eh?
Inspiration refreshed and energy sorta recharged, I’m coming back right atcha with a spring-esque outfit that I wore to venture over to Milton Keynes with my brother, my sister and my brother’s girlfriend. I plumped for my Blueberry silk shirt by Popbasic that I’m still indelibly in love with; it offers up that I-just-picked-this-off-my-floor charm with just a hint of relaxed tailoring that I looove. I’m a little obsessed with these tile print jeans from Topshop that the whole British high street lover population is wearing. But without a single idea of how to buy jeans online, I dug around my own jeans collection and re-discovered these 7 For All Mankind ones. Five months of healthy eating, moderation and light exercise later, I actually fit into these again - hallelujah! Finished everything off with my Zara tan sandals (these are about a year old - sorry!), my rose gold origami fox necklace and rose gold Mulberry Alexa. Perfect casual spring chic.
In between shopping for Pretzel M&M’s - so incredibly tasty! - soaking up new surroundings and realising that Pacman Smash air hockey is the best game at the arcade, this week/weekend also marks 100 weeks since I moved home from Uni. Weird. I think I’m going to write some thoughts down about post-Uni stuff right after I post this. Lots swimming about my mind at the moment that I need to put somewhere before I go crazy! ;)
