A 40-year old resident of Borella was stabbed to death by another person following a dispute over petrol at Castle Street, Borella last morning, police said.
According to Police, the suspect had stolen petrol from the victim’s motorbike which led to the murder.
The injured man had died on admission to the Colombo National Hospital. Police have arrested a 29-year-old suspect, a resident of Castle Street, Borella. Borella Police are conducting investigations.
