The Staff Selection Commission of India (SSC) conducts an exam to recruit candidates for GD Constable posts and candidates from various parts of India appear for the exam. It has been announced by the SSC commission that this year there would be more than 84,000+ vacancies. The official notice for the recruitment is yet to be announced but exam pattern, selection process and SSC GD syllabus are same every year which are given in this Sarkari Exam article below.
SSC GD Constable Selection Pattern
There are total 3 phases in SSC GD Constable Exam. They are as follows:
- Objective type Written Exam
- Physical Standard Test/Physical Efficiency Test
- Medical Test
SSC GD Written Exam Pattern 2020
The Written Exam is the first phase of the SSC GD Constable Exam which is of objective type, followed by GD Physical test, and Medical test. But one must clear the written test first. The exam pattern for the same is as follows:

Every question carries single mark and it is of objective type and only online mode exam can be written. The medium of exam could be of either in Hindi or English.
