Sri Lanka Customs officers arrested a staff member attached to SriLankan Catering while trying to smuggle 66 ten-tolas (116.6 grams) gold biscuits worth Rs.176 Million.
This stock of gold biscuits weighed 7,700 grams and the suspect tried to smuggle these by hiding them in his underwear.
The suspect is 35-years-old and the Narcotics Control Unit of Sri Lanka Customs is conducting investigations regarding this arrest.
