«We met in college in Laramie, Wyoming. He proposed by taking me to Lake Como, Italy. My parents decided to meet us in Lake Como for a few days, and we all had an amazing holiday together. After my parents left, he took me to an amazing dinner – the best dinner I have ever eaten. He took me on a walk along the lake at night, there was a live piano playing beautiful music, and he proposed with just the two of us under a gazebo covered in greenery.»

Our advice: «Book a venue that provides an easy planning system so you can enjoy all of it. Our venue provided an online planner that guided us to pick everything for our wedding. The day before and day of, the venue was so helpful, they were all amazing and helped so much. Vasilias Nikoklis Inn made everything seamless and made us feel at home.»
«My wedding dress is from Fort Collins, Colorado, USA, at Encore Bridal. It has a beige undertone with a sheer white lace sheath that was decorated with embroidered leaves and a deep V on the chest. It was strapless and shoulderless. It came with sleeve options: off-the-shoulder or full-length sleeves with the same embroidered leaves. It was the perfect dress for Cyprus. Austin said on the day of the wedding, “you match the eucalyptus trees.” It was the perfect dress that made me feel beautiful, and many of the guests said I looked like a Greek Goddess, haha.»
«At the wedding ceremony, we had a harpist, which was the perfect touch for the beautiful venue Vasilias Nikoklis Inn while I walked down the aisle. We also had a simple arch with a white cloth draped over it, the huge eucalyptus trees and the goats bleating in the background were the perfect details for our ceremony. We had beautiful gold accent pieces on all of our tables with white flowers and greenery down the middle. We also had lights strung above the reception area. Our dance floor had big light-up letters spelling the word “Love,” and when we had our first dance, the venue surprised us with big sparklers that made the moment unforgettable.»
«Our favorite part of the reception was the Cyprus dancers we booked. They were amazing! They danced for 45 minutes to traditional Cyprus music, they included guests from the crowd, including Austin and myself, the best man, and some other guests. At the end of their dance, everyone grabbed hands, and we all danced together throughout the venue. It was beautiful, amazing, and was such a special part of our wedding.»
