It snowed today. I cannot believe it! We spent this past weekend in DC visiting friends and checking out the Cherry Blossom Festival. We were spoiled by the 80 degree weather. Now we are back in Connecticut with snow! Crazy East Coast Natives, I do not know how you do it! We have been teaching our 3 year old about seasons, and since the flowers began to bloom she was very excited about Spring.
I didn’t know how to explain the snow… she asked, “Mama is it Winter again?”. Apparently it’s still Winter in Connecticut baby girl.
I am dreaming about California beaches and Sunshine… oh how I miss driving up Highway 1.
We shall meet again soon California.
Until then, I will be wearing dresses layered with leggings, topped with scarves and boots. Leggings are a great way to wear dresses when it is still chilly… just change up your footwear to be seasonally appropriate and you are good to go!
