The new season vintage from Château Léoube rosé has been released and neon recommends it as decent choice for Spring drinking.
The wine’s vineyards are found in Provence region where the mineral rich soil and traditional growing method ensure the vineyard produces healthy fruit. Also, the grapes are harvested by hand, so only the best are selected.
The tasting notes read “a fruity bouquet of red berries, ripe wild strawberries and subtle hit of pineapple, then finishes with a gentle touch of candy floss” so we gave it a sniff and a slurp and we could detect each of these summary scents plus a little acidity on the finish.
Perfect BBQ drinking Château Léoube pairs well with Mediterranean food, meats and salads but don’t underestimates it’s strength however as could stand up to spicy foods with Oriental and Indian flavours so go heavy on the marinades and chill well.
