«We met on Tinder in 2016. Tom proposed in December 2022 after a candle-lit dinner on the beach in St. Lucia.»

«I want to add that my dress was made of a heavy material, which worked well with the wind on the day and photographed well. It ended up being very different from my initial idea for what I wanted in a wedding dress, but once I tried it on, I knew it was the one for me and I have no regrets.»

«The flowers I chose were simple white roses and baby’s breath. I chose these alongside olive branches with leaves and eucalyptus leaves because I was trying to achieve a clean and classic timeless look for the ceremony and dinner setting. We had gold accents with stands in the indoor area and candles because we wanted it to be cozy, alongside the fairy lights hanging from the ceiling to make the glass room where dinner was held feel warm and inviting. My dress was very structured and classic, so I wanted to emulate this in the decor by keeping things simple with the ceremony decor and not overpowering the landscape and view.»

The bride’s advice to other brides-to-be: «Don’t get stressed, let your planner get stressed. Focus on what really matters—time together—and pencil in moments for time alone during the day. For example, we sat at a head table without other guests so we could talk amongst ourselves during the meal.»

My favorite moment was returning from the couple’s photoshoot to the dinner area, with all the guests welcoming us back. Tom agrees that this was a special moment, although he also really enjoyed the champagne tower and being able to go around talking to guests between dinner courses.
