Christy and Tony’s destination wedding took place on the beautiful island of Paphos and we love every beautiful detail! Weddings by Elizabeth Anne made their big day truly gorgeous with a romantic pale peach and white color palette, implementing fresh flowers and charming details that artfully decorated the couple’s special celebration! The newlyweds and guests enjoyed a three-tiered stunning wedding cake by Love Island Cakes while Thimisy beautifully captured the day from beginning to end!

“We met through mutual friends and he proposed at Seven Sisters Cliffs – a place with beautiful white cliffs during sunset. It was in August 2020 just when lockdown was eased and there were so many people, but eventually he found a quiet place and took me over there during sunset. He then of course went down on one knee following a small nervous speech and I said YES! It was just the two of us, which is what we always preferred so we could just enjoy the moment!”, Christy shared with us.
“We chose peach, pink and white theme with rose bouquet – aiming for natural colours and not overly powering. Ceremony facing the beach, pedals on the aisle and peach/white organza bows on chiavari chairs. We enjoyed our first dance the most, also during sunset where everyone got to have a beautiful view and took photos”.
“For me, my favorite moment would be the first dance where we performed our choreographed dance. For the groom, it would be when the bride was walking down the aisle and when it was all over! Sign of relief apparently that everything is over and went well!”
“I first came across this dress online – Enzoani Nasima online and knew this was the dress I wanted to go for. I tried out 20 dresses and went to three boutiques in total, but when I tried on the dress last, it was really the one I wanted. It is mermaid style with chantilly lace and sequin floral baroque lace creating an ethereal look”.
Bride’s advice: “Enjoy every moment of the day as the day will go by so quickly. Find yourself a good wedding planner will help as they will point you to the right direction and make your dream wedding come true. Also, a good photographer obviously!”
