Spring Couture Week '14

Favorite Looks. Fashion Week season has started and one of the shows that has caught my eye is the Spring Couture show in Paris. My favorite collections? Chanel, Giambattista Valli, Dior and Versace. Chanel's looks were completely inspired by the "sporty look" with heels being replaced by sneakers on the runway and fanny packets as the accessory du jour.  Dior remained true to its classic style that its known for but also added a fresh touch with pastel color palettes and interesting delicate patterns. Versace just oozes sex appeal and this is exactly what they achieved with all this collection. One could definitely see the influence of Lady Gaga, who is the current face of Versace. Giambattista Valli showed a bold  feminine collection with high slits and high-low cuts and there was also use of a very broad color palette. These are just a few of my favorites, it was very hard to pick  just four of the many beautiful amazing collections. Who were your favorites for Spring Couture Week? Xo
