Spring Cleaning: Crawl Space

We are taking spring cleaning to a new level over at our house this year. When myself and my husband moved into our home back in 2006 we never cleaned out the crawl space and attic from the previous owners (also Fergus family members). Fast forward 8 years and 2 kids later and we decided we needed to FINALLY clean house! Up first, the crawl space. This thing was jammed packed with wood, metal, destroyed furniture, broken doors, glass, old paint, and other random garbage from the 60's, 70's, & the 80's. 
Here are some of the things we found:Yep, 3 tons of items that had to be brought to the dump. That's 7,000 pounds of trash that has been under my home! To me, this is insane. Sadly, the furniture was all water damaged but we did manage to save a vintage typewriter, record player & records, bongos, and a few other small gems. 
A shopping cart? This bad boy was so heavy! They used to make everything better back in the day, no? ;)

Now that's a usable crawl space!
