I absolutely LOVE convenience, don't you? I like to order things online, pick them up (or have them delivered), and then move on with my day. I'm not all about making my life more difficult standing in line behind 14 people to place an order, and then waiting for the order to be done, etc. So you can imagine how happy I was to review the Baskin‐Robbins Snowman Cake (um...I was very happy!). I ordered it online and picked the cake up in‐store at my own convenience. It was such a simple and easy process.

Ordering a cake is super SIMPLE! When you order, you get to customize whatever kind of cake you'd like. Awesome, right? We chose the snowman cake ( tis the season after all!), but you can get cakes for any season and occasion. For Christmas alone, they have several, including elves, yule logs, and, of course, a Santa cake. We ordered our snowman cake with vanilla cake and Snickers ice cream. (Are you all drooling? Soooo good!)
First, you choose the cake flavor (chocolate or vanilla), and then you choose your ice cream flavor. If you're not into Snickers, you have plenty of options, like Pralines n' Cream, Pistachio Almond, and your standard chocolate or vanilla, along with 12 other choices. There are 16 in all. You just click the little bubble next to what you want. And then you get to select a special message from 11 standard messages like "Happy Mother's Day", "Merry Christmas", and "Congratulations". If you don't want a standard message and want to choose a custom message, you can do that too, with a generous 35 character limit. After that, you choose the color you want the message in from 7 different colors. You can choose a custom color, too, if you'd like. You just put the color you want in the message box on the order page, so if you wanted baby blue or teal for example, they can make that for you too. They do require at least 24 hours notice, which isn't really a long time for a custom cake.
Now let's talk about the best part - the eating process! The cake was absolutely DELICIOUS and we LOVED it. It's very flavorful and festive. And totally adorable! Take a look!
The cake had the perfect balance of cake and ice cream to make it not too dry and not too soft. The little crunchies stayed nice and crunchy. It was hard not to eat the entire thing.
I will most definitely be keeping Baskin Robbins in my phone's contacts for the next birthday party or family function where I'm asked to bring something. The snowman cake serves 6‐8 and is very reasonably priced at $26.99. Think of the possibilities here. Invited to a family dinner? Order the cake the day before, pick it up on the way there. You brought a delicious dessert that didn't cost you an arm and a leg. No drama involved.
