FASHION DESIGNERPorscia Yeganeh from PORSCIA™
Remember last year December, I introduced you all to a Canadian born, up and coming designer Porscia who had just recently moved to Italy and was starting to shine in the European market as well. (visit the post on PAGE). Well, almost half a year after that when I checked with her, I realized how much a sensation she has become within the Italian Fashion Industry. She has been working round the clock and is busy in Italy organizing exclusive show in Rome with show biz clients, politicians and more!
Her latest collection for the Italian market, in her own words:
Meticulous craftsmanship behind, "INSPIRATION FOR SIMPLE BEAUTY", in PORSCIA® masterpiece collection. F|W'12.
And true to the words, her collection is a timeless compilation of some classic silhouettes, with modern take, like the trench coat inspired dress with a soft flow to its asymmetric hem or the beautifully done black and white dresses. The designs are very much in tune with the runway trends, but alongside, they have simplicity and appeal to a much wider customer base. I specially love the skirt and blouse combo in gold and ivory silk, the whole ‘matching the separates’ look is very trendy this year and catching up in accessories soon. Also, the fact that every single stitch, every little detail has been paid attention to in the collection, makes it über-chic. Love her cute little embroidered label in pink with black text.
Here’s a sneak peek of her F|W'12 range:
