The representative remarked, “routinely conducts a number of tests in an effort to improve our user experience.”

Spotify did not share expansion plans for the feature.

Spotify has a greater web3 presence than other companies. It uses the most recent technologies in its system at all times. It has introduced metaverse news by adding a “stunningly realistic” robot DJ to its application. This artificial music queue generates songs based on your musical preferences and listening history.

The streaming platform with 489 million users has tried NFTs. In May 2022, Steve Aoki and The Wombats endorsed NFTs on their respective Spotify profiles.

Web3 music platforms spread the listening of music. Audius, a crypto-linked streaming service, pays consumers for using its app with AUDIO tokens, whilst Royal and anotherblock permit authors to sell music royalties as fractional NFTs.
