Hey Hey Friends! I'm not done with the polka dot trend! I'm seeing spots in a good way with the new CUPRO polka dot dress sent by my friends at Everlane. In case you aren't familiar with Cupro, it a sustainable fabric made from regenerated cellulose fibers and feel like silk but is WASHABLE!! Can we get a Hallelujah?!
Shirt dresses are SO versatile! They can be worn SO MANY ways. Today, I'm sharing four ways to wear this shirt dress - as a dress, unbelted, as a tunic, and as a jacket/duster!
BELTED DRESS
I wore this shirt dress to church with a pair of animal print heels, and it was easy! (I shared it on Instagram over the weekend.) I was comfortable and felt chic.
The slightly asymmetrical hem (shorter in front) gives the illusion of longer legs. I'll take any help I can get on height! For a dressier look, I paired it with white heels and a white bag in the above pictures. This will be worn to work and/or church again.
UNBELTED DRESS
Can you say COMFY with a Capital C? Wearing this dress unbelted is the perfect way to hide your food baby! All joking aside, it makes for a breezy shift dress to wear casually with sneakers/sandals or dressy again with heels.
TUNIC
I'm SO trying this look! Leave the bottom half of the dress unbuttoned and wear it over skinny ankle jeans. I've seen this style worn multiple times on street style photos.
JACKET/ DUSTER
Leave the dress unbuttoned and throw it on over a white tank with jeans/shorts for a fresh take! It's an easy way to try the duster/ kimono trend without having to invest in another wardrobe piece.
And there you have it - four easy ways to wear this Everlane cupro shirt dress! So HOW WOULD YOU WEAR IT? And have you ever worn a cupro piece before? (I'm telling you it's dreamy soft!)
BTW, I've mentioned Everlane before in this post where I share WHY I love the brand so much! Ethical. Transparent. Reasonable prices. Yes, Yes, and YES!
Happy Wednesday Friends! We have the AC people coming over for some repairs and still trying to finish the kids' rooms (decor, etc.) and cleaning up my closet. Hope your week is going well!
Thank you so much for stopping by and supporting SOS! I truly appreciate it!
