Tell us a bit about yourself!I've always been in love with anything and everything involving food since I was a little girl. From watching Food Network everyday after school (what 12 year old does that??) to sneaking raw eggs into my room so I could try and whip egg whites like they did on t.v., I couldn't get enough. So naturally, after a few years of college I enrolled and then graduated from the California School of Culinary Arts, back in 2005 with a Le Cordon Bleu degree. I have since acquired an even more extreme obsession with desserts, especially cupcakes! That's exactly what inspired this blog. I wanted a place to be able to come (even if virtually) and sit and chat with you all (my friends) about life, faith, hobbies, loves, and of course DESSERT! Tell us a bit about yourself!Hi, I'm Nicole, a full-time Ph.D. student with a love for new adventures! I started my blog as a way to encourage myself to step out of my comfort zone and document my attempts at finding life's hidden treasures.... and as a way to distract myself from my studies. On my blog you'll find my tromp towards mastering gardening, cooking, crafting and being a 25 year old gal in California.

My happy list includes: camping and hiking, hedgehogs, wine, trying new foods and recipes, and learning more about photography and photo-editing. More than anything, I love to travel! Since I was a college junior, I've made sure to use my passport at least once a year. The places that make me the happiest are New Zealand and Japan. Every 4 years when the Olympics roll around, I have mixed emotions of happiness and a little bit of sadness. I was a competitive gymnast for most of my life and always dreamed of making the Olympic team one day. Although that dream didn't become a reality, I'm pretty proud of the fact that I can still flip around at 25!

My blog is mostly about fashion and outfit and a little bit about me and my life. Its where recreate looks I find on Pinterest as well as "remix" pieces a few different ways to get the most wear. I love to be happy and try to share that happiness with my readers, some things that make my eye twinkle are massive sales, my cat The Moshi (yes, her name is actually "The Moshi"), my boyf. even though he is thousands of miles away, and finally the friendships I make with fellow blogettes.

I used to want to be a tattoo artist, I love to draw and I life people so I thought that it would be the perfect job for me... then those TLC shows came on and I saw that most people get stupid tattoos and I didnt want to "sacrifice my art" like that... now I want to be a special needs teacher - I think thats better anyway!
