Spongebob Movie Release Date Moved Up At Paramount Animation

The 3rd installment of the Spongebob movie “It’s A Wonderful Sponge” has gotten a new release date at Paramount animation.

With rumors that Maroon 5 is planning a SpongeBob tribute as part of their Super Bowl LIII halftime show, the studio has moved the movie release date to May 22, 2020, Deadline is reporting.

There are few details regarding the upcoming film, but it has been reported by Toonado that it will be a prequel; taking place before the other movies and the television series.

The third installment of the film was originally scheduled to be released  on July 17th, 2020.
