It’s a departure from the normal.
Earlier today, Arrow star Stephen Amell (Oliver Queen) revealed season 7’s poster artwork. In it we see Oliver looking a lot worse for wear. Check it out below:
Amell posted the image via Facebook with the caption “This fall. Green Is The New Black,” a nice little homage to Netflix’s Orange Is The New Black.
The image is a stark contrast to the past 6 seasons of Arrow posters, where Oliver has always been dressed as the Hood, the Arrow, or the Green Arrow. In this year’s poster, we see Oliver behind bars, bruised and battered, trying to stay alive while there’s a massive target on his back. It’s definitely a departure from the normal and one that’s sure to stick with fans.
