Back in the Spider-Man universe with "Far From Home", J.K. Simmons said his next cameo as J. Jonah Jameson was already filmed. So will he appear in the spin-off devoted to the villain Morbius?

Sony Pictures Releasing France Since the last seconds of Spider-Man - Far From Home, the J. Jonah Jameson of the Marvel Cinematic Universe has a face: that of J.K. Simmons, who already embodied the angry editor of the Daily Bugle in the trilogy of Sam Raimi. On May 31, the Oscar-winning actor for Whiplash hinted that this cameo would not remain unanswered since he had signed for several feature films around the Spider-Man, and today he gives some additional details: "There is a future for J. Jonah Jameson", explains his interpreter, questioned by SiriusXM. "Assuming cinemas reopen and people go back there at that time. Otherwise, I guess we'll see [le résultat] on our televisions at home. One of JJJ's next appearances is already in the box and, from what I hear, another is planned. So chances are it will continue, now and forever. "
The next cameo of J.K. Simmons has therefore already been filmed. But for which film? In view of the expected next installments, a more than credible candidate emerges: Morbius, spin-off of the adventures of Spider-Man centered on the villain of the same name, a vampire embodied by Jared Leto. Like Venom, Daniel Espinosa's feature film is produced by Sony, but his first trailer clearly links him to the MCU with the appearance of the Vulture played by Michael Keaton at the very end. A desire to join the two universes which could therefore be extended with an appearance by J. Jonah Jameson, who will then be found in the third part of the saga carried by Tom Holland and whose filming has been postponed because of the pandemic of coronavirus. Because difficult to imagine that it is not that, the other participation already planned that evokes J.K. Simmons.
Especially if we remember the end of Far From Home and the trap set by Mysterio by Spider-Man. Which is likely to become a fugitive, whose hunt will be joyfully animated by J. Jonah Jameson and his "fake news". Verdict from October 27, 2021, the French release date from his reunion with the Spider-Man, while Morbius will be visible on our screens from March 17.
Are there other clues related to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the trailer?
