HTC Desire 526+ has an 11.93 cm (4.7 inch) screen, qHD Display (234 PPI). The resolution is 540X950 pixels. This no way nears the resolution of high-end devices but might be considered decent in the price range. The device is equipped with 8 MP rear camera and 2 MP front camera. And its storage space can be extended upto 32 GB using the microsSD card. HTC Desire 526G+ is powered by 2000 mAh battery and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat with HTC Sense UI.
The main features include HTC BlinkFeed which brings specified content directly to the device’s Home Screen. This can include updates from social network and various articles drawn from various other media sources. There’s also an Offline Reading mode that enables the users to add upto 120 articles to the reading list. These can be read later at any time, even at the time when the device is not connected to the net.
HTC Desire 526G+ also has a feature that allows the users to combine their chosen photographs with a music track to turn them into a video.
When I looked at the device’s specifications, I saw only Accelerometer mentioned in its Sensors. I did not see even the Proximity or Light sensors mentioned. If that’s true, then the users might face problems using the device in changing light conditions and when the device is close to the cheek.
This Dual SIM smartphone by HTC is available in two vaiants. The 8GB internal storage variant is available exclusively on Snapdeal.com for INR 10,400. And the HTC Desire 526G+ dual SIM 16GB variant is available across major retailers in the country for INR 11,400.
