The SuperCup of Spain NFT Collection on OpenSea sold all 473 NFTs in less than an hour. Together with TNC Art and the Royal Spanish Football Federation, 3D Factory put out the NFT collection on January 15 at 11 AM (GST) (RFEF). 3D Factory and TNC Art will put out another NFT collection in February 2023.
The SuperCup of Spain NFT Collection came out to celebrate the Spanish Super Cup football event, which was put on by the RFEF. The 2021-2022 winners of La Liga and Copa del Rey, as well as the runners-up, played in the tournament. From January 11 to 15, FC Barcelona beat Real Madrid, Valencia, and Real Betis to win their fourteenth Super Cup.
3D Factory and TNC Art will work together on more RFEF football team collections after this NFT collection. In February 2023, the first collection will come out.
The NFT Collection was made up of Real Madrid and FC Barcelona, the two teams that played for the Spanish Super Cup. There were 473 NFTs for the SuperCup of Spain. 253 of them were for Real Madrid and 220 were for FC Barcelona. These unusual bets were a treat for fans of the Spanish Super Cup, especially those who like the way sports and technology are coming together.
To attract potential customers, the SuperCup of Spain NFTs were carefully made with details like jersey number, players’ field position, country, and club to show support for the teams and wish them luck in winning. Each of these had its own set of search filters on OpenSea.
From an analytics point of view, the NFTs were sent to 220 owners, of which 47% were first-time visitors. The lowest price for NFTs was set at 0.01 ETH, and 28 ETH was the total amount sold.
They were made in eight different colors, including Aurora Red, Brown Gold, Deep Purple, Dessert Wine, Hawaiian Sky Blue, Lightning Gold, Nature Mint, and Ocean Blue. They even had a “special” card made that looked like it was in 3D and felt like velvet.
On November 21, 2022, the RFEF and 3D Factory signed a global sponsorship deal for the NFT metaverse. This made RFEF the first football organization in the world to have its own metaverse.
Luis Rubiales, who is in charge of RFEF, was only excited to talk about the relationship with 3D Factory and said With this relationship with 3D Factory lasting until 2027, they aspire to expand in the exciting world of the metaverse together.
Also, 3D Factory said that on December 30, 2022, they will sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with TNC Group, a worldwide blockchain service provider. The MoU was signed to promote a full-scale NFT business.
3D Factory worked with TNC Art, the creative arm of TNC Group, to print 473 NFTs, which sold out in less than an hour to celebrate the RFEF hosting the Spanish Super Cup.
