Sourcebook: Paint by Conran

By Hollie Brooks @MiaFleur_home

We first heard about Paint by Conran on twitter otherwise I think it would have passed us by as it doesn’t seem to be very widely available yet. Terence Conran is one of the world’s best-known designers, restaurateurs and retailers and he has teamed up with Master Paintmakers to produce a range that is inspired by the beautiful colours of British plants and landscapes. There are 96 colours curated into five collections comprised of colours that work well together, which makes it easier to design a room scheme.

On receiving the color guide we fell in love with the range and immediately ordered Dark Lovage for the backdrop for our new spring range and it’s gorgeous! So rich and vibrant, and with a real depth of color.  The girls have shared a few images on Instagram and there’s been a lot of love for Dark Lovage.

With several of my rooms awaiting new color schemes I think I need to start ordering some tester pots. Rhubarb Stalk from the Kitchen Garden collection looks very scrummy and I can’t wait to see that in the flesh. Not sure where it’s going yet though – wait and see!
