If you know me, you know that my favorite band (of all time) is Dave Matthews Band. I realize that the song of the week I chose, So Damn Lucky, is from the debut solo album for Dave Matthews, but who cares. The music is still very similar and just as wonderful.
If my research is correct, this song is about a near death experience. I think this song can be transferrable to other experiences that change your life, big and small, though. I thought this was a great way to remind us all that we are lucky. Even if life is not what you expect it to be at this very moment, you are still alive and well enough to be reading this blog post, right?
Aside from a nice meaning, I think the song is relaxing and well performed. Dave Matthews never fails to impress me! Enjoy the song of the week and remember that we are so damn lucky.
