Verdict on Sorry Charlie

Sorry Charlie is a horror thriller following a woman working from home after an incident. She offers support for other people in need but starts to suspect her stalker has returned. It leads to her facing a race against time to figure out what is happening in her life.

Over the last few years, we have started seeing a lot more of the workers from home getting stalked movies. They are easier to make and rely on one person’s performance for the most part. Kathleen Kenny does a great job here, carrying the movie with her interactions over the phone.

Ever since we first saw the iconic Sidney Prescott try to have a private life before getting stalked, the idea has bounced up into a concept that can become an extended movie. This one is one of the better ones as we see our leading lady have a good reason to fear the outside and be prepared for the worst to happen. It uses the environment for tension and shows the people outside encourage overcoming their fears.
