Sony has launched its latest smartphone Xperia XA Ultra in India today. It will be available in Graphite Black and Lime Gold color options. The users will also get a three-month subscription worth Rs. 2000 of Sony Liv, Hungama Play and Kindle eBooks free with the smartphone.
The USP of the new smartphone by Sony is that it has a 16MP front-facing autofocus camera with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS). The company is pitching the smartphone primarily as a “selfie smartphone” which currently is a hot trend in the subcontinent.
It sports a 21.5-megapixel rear camera with Exmor RS sensor, hybrid autofocus, HDR photo mode, auto scene recognition, and LED flash.

Xperia XA Ultra features a large 6-inch Full HD display of 1080x1920p resolution which is further enhanced by Sony’s Mobile Bravia Engine 2 technology. It supports dual-SIM (Nano SIM), and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The Sony Xperia XA Ultra is powered by a 64-bit MediaTek Helio P10 MT6755 octa-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM. It offers 16GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded via microSD card (up to 200GB).

It packs a 2700mAh battery and the company claims that it can deliver up to 2 days of battery life and quick charging can get 5.5 hours battery life in just 10 minutes of charging. Connectivity options on the Sony Xperia XA Ultra include support for 4G, GPRS/EDGE, 3G, A-GPS, Wi-Fi, Miracast, Bluetooth 4.1, DLNA, and NFC.
