Sony’s showing off a new sports and training headset prototype that looks very much like a waterproof head mounted version of the Walkman. First off it does all the monitoring and data sending to your phone as all the other measuring device thanks to the heart rate monitor, GPS radio and accelerometer. The Smart B-Trainer has built in storage and controls and you can load music as a well as a fitness plan. So if you run without your phone you can still have music and the training plan can play music to pump or chill you out. It can also give you robotic instructions to slow down or pick up the pace.
