Sony has been at the forefront of digital cameras for some time (at least at the consumer end of the market) and its Cyber Shot snappers are very familiar with most tech minded folk. In 2012 the Sony RX100 wowed us with its neat design and blockbuster specs, it was arguably the best point and shoot pocket camera we had seen. Sony is back this year with a sequel, the RX100 II and yet again it is a stunning camera that can take amazing quality images for the price point, with precision colours and white balance. US$748
