Sony launches Xperia L and Xperia SP
Sony announces two new devices days after Samsung launched it latest Galaxy S IV device. The Sony devices feature two new smartphones – the Xperia L and Xperia SP. Out of the two, the SP seems to be more interesting in terms of specs and maybe a good alternative for the Xperia Z.
Under the hood, the Xperia SP features a Qualcomm Snapdragon dual-core processor and Google’s Android 4.1 mobile operating system. It has 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. It is also equipped with Adreno 320 graphic. There is also an 8MP camera with Exmor RS sensor, a battery capable of ‘stamina’ mode for improved battery life, integrated NFC and support for 4G LTE.
The 4.6-inch 720p Reality display produces a resolution a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels (319ppi) and is equipped with a massive 2,370mAh battery. At the rear it has a 8MP auto-focus camera, HDR mode, panorama, face detection, touch focus and image stabilization. It also has a VGA front-facing camera for video calls. There is no informati0n about pricing at this stage.
