I want to thank whatever slapdick threw that banana towards my direction in CF in the last inning. Way to show ur class u jackass.

So that sucks. People throwing bananas at African American athletes usually means racism and in a place like San Fran, or anywhere for that matter, it’s just not acceptable. There’s been no video evidence and Jones didn’t mention anything in the post game new conference so I guess for now we’ll take his twitter rant at face value. Either way, this stuff needs to stop. People who do this need to find a new hobby. If this is how you’re going to act, just stay in your mom’s basement for the rest of your life.
Here’s my issue though, why not mention something in the post game presser? Why wait to do it on twitter and then do it in the way he did. I’m not saying he’s wrong and this shit doesn’t need to happen, but I’d imagine the Orioles would rather him not using inappropriate language on twitter. I’m all for nipping things in the bud right away.

P.S. Who brings a banana to a baseball game? I’m pretty sure you can’t buy one, so I’m assuming someone brought it into the ball park. Seems like an awful lot of effort just to be a douche bag.
