Waiter suspended after three women called ‘fat girls’ on receipt

Three friends who had dinner at Chilly D’s Sports Lounge in Stockton, Calif.’s Cameo Club Casino last week were shocked after they received their check –and it had anything to do with the total at the bottom.
“I got the bill, and I was like, ‘why does the receipt say, fat girls?’” Christina Duran, one of the diners, said, according to MyFox8
The women questioned their server, who denied involvement and said that another colleague named Jeff, the name listed on the receipt, must have been the one who had entered “fat girls” into the system.
The offended diners then asked to speak to a manager. Although the manager apologized, his first instinct was the offer the women 25 percent off of their check. After protest from the women, he said he’d reduce the bill in half.
After paying the bill, the three women left. But Christina Huerta took a picture of their receipt so that others could see it, and the story has since spread all over the world with the help of social media.
Supporters of both the server and the women have been voicing their opinions of the casino’s Facebook
“Jeff should be fired if he hasn’t been yet, and a written apology to the “Fat Girls” would be appropriate,” one user commented.
“This is ridiculous!!!!! NO DO NOT FIRE HIM!!!!!!” another commenter wrote on the page.
As of Saturday, Jeff was still suspended and management is investigating, it was reported.
