Baseball.net struck out, after selling for $52,500 at the T.R.A.F.F.I.C. auction in 2008, the domain sold on Flippa for $15,100.
Over at Namepros Kate said, This is what happens when domainers buy at end user price, hoping to flip for a profit ?
That price was certainly an end user price back in 2008 and hopes for a flip were very ambitious if that was the intent.
.Net has been on the decline for awhile with only 2 of the top 20 all time .net sales taking place in the last 3 years.
