I visited Soho Beach House last week for the first time. I had very low expectations, but was blown away.
I honestly thought it was going to be a property that tries too hard, another Miami Beach hotel where everyone went just to be seen. It is, in fact, the exact opposite. It is truly unique, whimsical, natural, and beautiful.
It feels very private with the various hallways and floors that you can get lost in. The spa is absolutely stunning. The rooms comfortable and thoughtfully designed - made to be lived in, without feeling sterile. The 2 pools are gorgeous and intimate as are the restaurants. They have a movie theater with a schedule on the wall as well as fabulous sitting rooms to daydream in.
I hope that this property will set a new standard for design in the area. It is now on the list of my 5 favorite hotels in Miami.
