Story: Society of the Snow starts when a Uruguayan rugby team traveling to Chile over the Andes, crash lands. Not everyone survives the crash and the ones that do must face the horrendous cold conditions the mountain range throws at them.

As the survivors face an uncertain future, they are forced to make a difficult decision to eat the dead passengers. However, it puts together a bigger moral dilemma for the Christian survivors as the race to find rescue intensifies.

Verdict on Society of the Snow

Society of the Snow is a drama following the true story of the survivors of the plane crash. It dives into the horrors they faced in their battle to survive. Along with the moral dilemmas they faced to survive in conditions where people gave up searching for them.

This is one of the most incredible stories of survival. It showed how far humans could go to survive even if we have seen this story told a few times. In this one, we get a much more personal connection to what happened. It includes a couple of brutal sequences, including the crash itself. The movie is a little bit longer than it needs to be, but the people who survived and the people who were lost will never be forgotten.
