There are protocols to be followed ~especially when the Guest is
a person of repute ..sometimes people in their over enthusiastic zeal, break
the rules … then what follows is not entirely appreciable ….
Putin
is a great hero ….. he has launched another attack… not missiles but this time
it’s on an ice rink; the Russian leader celebrated his 63rd birthday playing hockey as his military
carries out strikes in Syria. Putin
scored seven goals as his star-studded team, which included ice hockey legend
PavelBure, won the game 15-10, during a live broadcast from the Olympic city of
Sochi. Earlier in the afternoon Putin was briefed by Mr Shoigu in televised
remarks that four Russian warships - based 900 miles away in the Caspian Sea -
had launched 26 strikes on 11 ISIS targets. Putin was given a trophy for his
team's win at the end of the game and a medal for his contribution to hockey in
Russia. The opposing team included defence minister Sergei Shoigu as well as
President Putin's close friends - tycoons Gennady Timchenko and Arkady
Rotenberg. Last year, Mr Putin reportedly spent his birthday holed up in the
Siberian wilderness far away from populated areas.
Sochi is a city in

one of the very few places in Russia with a subtropical climate, with warm to
hot summers and mild winters.Sochi hosted the XXII Olympic Winter Gamesand XI
Paralympic Winter Games in 2014, as well as the Russian Formula 1 Grand Prix
from 2014 until at least 2020.It will also be one of the host cities for the

Away from the game
of Cricket [with debates on whether Dhoni’s success as finisher has weaned] is Lewis
Carl Davidson Hamilton, a British Formula One racing driver currently racing
for the Mercedes AMG team. He is the 2008 and 2014 Formula One World
Champion.Coming from a mixed background, with a black father and white mother,
Hamilton is often labelled "the first black driver in Formula One”. He has
more race victories than any other British driver in the history of Formula One
and is currently tied for third on the all-time wins list, with 42 wins. The

'Nice
knowing you, Lewis': Twitter fans taunt Hamilton after F1 driver embarrasses
President Putin by soaking him with champagne on podium of Sochi Grand Prix. Mercedes
driver Lewis Hamilton claimed victory at Sochi Grand Prix. He was joined on the
winners' podium by Russia's President Vladimir Putin. The pair took a moment to
celebrate together as Putin handed over trophy ~even before the President got
down, Hamilton started spraying champagne.
Mercedes driver
Hamilton took first place today, ahead of Ferrari driver Sebastian Vettel of
Germany, and Force India driver Sergio Perez of Mexico and his moment of glory
was enhanced when President Putin stepped up to congratulate him on the podium,
taking some time away from his activities in Syria to share in celebrations.
After enjoying
Hamilton's moment of glory, the Russian leader was ushered off stage after a
quick wave to the crowd. The champagne split on the leader too. MailOnline reports that some viewers posted
on Twitter their concerns for Hamilton’s well-being after the incident.‘Putin responds
by giving his political opposition kill-squad Lewis Hamilton’s home address.
Nice knowing you Lewis,’ wrote one. Another stated, ‘You best watch your back
brother, soaking Putin not a good idea when he can bomb you from 1,000 miles
away!!!’
The racing driver told
President Putin that Russia is a 'beautiful country'. Hamilton is well-known for his celebration
antics, although this latest comes as something of a step up from previous
targets.Earlier this year Hamilton came under fire for spraying a hostess in
the face with champagne after winning the Chinese Grand Prix in Shanghai. Liu
Siying was pictured grimacing as Lewis Hamilton sprayed champagne at her face
after winning the race and Sexism campaigners called Hamilton's behaviour
'selfish', saying that it ruined what should have been a moment of
celebration. One campaigner wrote, ‘The
champagne is being very specifically directed into her face, which does not
look like a voluntary piece of horseplay on her part.’She added: ‘It is surely
a very difficult position to be a grid girl and she would have had little
option but to stand there and take it.
It
was Hamilton’s moment of triumph – yet, not the right reaction when the
President of the Country was on podium. Meanwhile,
Russia’s warplanes continued to pound Syria, and claimed to destroy an ISIS
command post in the western Latakia province.
