So while im on a natural eco kick, I went to Tumulus de Bougon (a prehistoric museum) near Poitiers in central France, and look what was there…a little exhibition on Textiles and the history of dyeing, knitting and weaving!
The big tubes above show plants and how the different parts of each plant produces different coloured tints for using on wool etc.
V cool huh? and a method that we are looking to more and more as we address the environmental issues in the fashion industry.
