I love snowshoeing! More weekends than not I can be found snowshoeing. Fortunately, last weekend was one of those weekends when I went snowshoeing on the Baltic Sea near Oulu in Finland. We just did a short snowshoe since our main goal was to catch some lunch with the ice fishing gear in our packs (more on that later), but Go Arctic! can arrange longer snowshoe treks into the Finnish forest, providing a peaceful but completely different experience than dog sledding, which we did in nearby Iso Syöte. Just don’t ask me to choose which I like better. I like them both, but snowshoes are easier to fit into the car than six Huskies and a sled!
