Snoop Dogg’s Latest Business Venture Has the Best Ad Campaign

Snoop Dogg recently got coronated as Smooth Dogg as the new face and minority shareholder of Klarna, a Swedish online bank. Klarna's "Get Smooth" campaign featuring Snoop is pretty brilliant in my opinion. Their business concept promises to remove the friction from pay later banking transactions, effectively making them smoother for their customers. Get it? Enter Smooth Dogg aka Snoop Dogg, and his cultural association with smoothness, as not only an investor but also as the face of a campaign that's touting making everyday life for consumers and merchants a lot smoother and hassle-free. And really, the visuals of Snoop frolicking around in golden garb, on a pink bed surrounded by long golden haired dogs (of course), were enough for me to squeal in delight. Well done.
