Snip Snip!

An up and down week where I spent many a $. 一. First things first, I cut my hair! Planned a little trip to the hairdressers to refresh my hair as it was getting a little flat and too non-descript long for my liking and I actually ended up deciding on a lob, inspired by Lauren Conrad and Kristen Ess. I asked for a nape-length cut with a little more length towards the front and I must say it's taken some getting used to but I think it's going to be A-OK once I get over the morning struggle to devote more time to my hair and less to the duvet. (Plus it looks darn good on Turtleneck Thursdays where I, you know, tend to wear a turtleneck out od devotion to Bertle and Eric.)
二. I've had a bit of an up and down week this week. Bitchy colleagues ahoy. But the EXCELLENT NEWS is that my girl Aisling is coming to Hong Kong to stay with me! I'm literally beyond excited to see her, have a jolly good catch-up and take her for a whistlestop tour around my new favorite places here. We're also planning to go to Ocean Park which I haven't been to since I was about 7 so that should be fun!
三. Filmed another video on Friday that I uploaded yesterday afternoon, so if you haven't already had a little watch, head over and do so here. It would been the world to me if you clicked the ol' subscribe button too! Promise I have bigger and better things coming soon.
四. Ooh! In similar news, this week I bought a new camera. I picked up the Samsung NX Mini and I can't stop snapping away. It's so much fun. While I adore my Nikon D3100 DSLR, it's far too heavy and bulky to accompany me every day in Hong Kong. I tend to save it more for blog photos or outfit snaps if whoever I'm with is handy with a camera! But this will be ideal for on-the-go photos and for taking outfit photos when my pals are less familiar with cameras (:
五. Finally, I'm ridiculously proud of myself for keeping with my workout regime this month. Although I am still recovering from yesterday afternoon's HIIT session. Hardcore but fingers crossed I can keep up with them! It's 100% helped me to feel like I'm getting "the most" out of my day, especially living on my own, and my sleeping pattern has finally improved too. I've started writing a post about my non-routine actually, which I'm hoping to post soon! And if anyone has any tips on breathing while exercising, please send them my way!
