Captured this diminutive aircraft departing the 2013 Pacific Coast Dream Machines Show. First flown in 1956, the Smith DSA-1 Miniplane (“Darn Small Aeroplane”, “Darned Small Airplane”, “Damn Small Airplane”) was sold as a homebuilt kitplane. A quick search shows that 566 of these biplanes are currently registered throughout North America. Nikon D7000 w/70-200mm.
