How to Have a Lots of Outfit Options When You Have Limited Space in Your Wardrobe

Jill Chivers of Shop Your Wardrobe and I discuss the question of the feeling of lots of options when you have a small space.

Tips we discuss in this video:

Wardrobe Organisation - make it work how you like to store your clothes.

Here is how I store my accessories in my wardrobe (and my wardrobe is all PAX from Ikea in case you're wondering).

Coathangers
  • What kind to use if you have a small wardrobe, having the same kind of hangers means that everything hangs at the same height which means things don't get lost.
  • How to manage them when you take your clothes off them.

Colour Palette - Working with a select colour palette - we discussed this concept in depth here.

And if you want to know which colours suit you best so you can create a fabulous wardrobe from colours that flatter you, check out my 7 Steps to Style program which includes my professional colour analysis.

Adding Accessories - make you feel like you're wearing something different.

General Tips
  • Anything new must meet your "fabulous" criteria - read up about why you should make it an eight.
  • Think about your wardrobe as retail space - every piece must earn its place in your limited space.

You can still have lots of options and fabulous style even in a small wardrobe.

We'd love you to share your tips for creating fabulous style with your small wardrobe!
