Story: Slumdog Millionaire starts when a teenager Jamal (Patel) wins the Indian version of ‘’Who Wants to be a Millionaire?’’ He shocks the host Prem (Kapoor) who witnesses him answering questions he doesn’t believe he knows the answers to. The police start investigating him, with the Inspector (Khan) wanting answers.

This takes us down a journey through Jamal’s life. As his young life has seen him live through some of the worst experiences. However, these experiences have led to him knowing the answers to the questions he was asked. His stories must be recounted to prove he knew the most difficult answers.

Verdict on Slumdog Millionaire

Slumdog Millionaire is a drama following the aftermath of a teenager surprising the country and winning Who Wants to be a Millionaire. However, he must prove he didn’t cheat by telling the stories of how he came to know the answers. Each question reveals a different story of the struggle he needed to overcome just to survive.

This is one of the most incredible stories of the recent years. It shows that not everyone is going to know the same information anyone does. However, their personal life encounters could fill somebody with information. Each story shows a different struggle he overcame to survive the harsh reality of his life. All blended around proves his innocence and a long-lost love story. We get wonderful performances from the whole cast in a movie that helped make Dev Patel and Frieda Pinto’s careers. As well as showing the wider world the talent of the Bollywood talent.
