The second National Convention of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) will be held at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium on December 15.
The National Convention will be held under the patronage of SLPP Leader former President Mahinda Rajapaksa and its founder and National Organiser Basil Rajapaksa. SLPP leaders, provincial politicians and a large number of party members will also attend the Convention.
All political parties and groups allied with the SLPP have been invited for the Convention. Party members in every electorate will participate in the Convention.
SLPP National Organiser Basil Rajapaksa has said that the party’s future plans and the role of the SLPP to move the country forward will be announced at the Convention.
