Dress: Urban Outfitters (currently on sale!), Vest: Forever 21 (similar here), Booties: Target (love this option – I received the black pair as a gift last fall!), Necklace: Forever 21, Watch: Michael Kors, Bracelets: Gifted, Rings: Gifted

Let’s face it – for me and for countless other fashionistas who live in warmer climates, it won’t be cool enough to break out the Fall gear for another couple of months at least. Every year I’m faced with this predicament, and every year I find myself trying to come up with ways to incorporate touches of Fall in my wardrobe without suffering a heat stroke from dressing too warmly. And every year, no matter how many years I have to tackle this task, it remains a challenge. While I’m nowhere near having the solution to this challenge totally under my belt, I have stumbled upon a few remedies that help make the seemingly forever and a day wait for cooler weather a bit more bearable.

Remedy #1 – Lightweight layers. Preferable sleeveless ones. If you have some sort of a vest in your wardrobe arsenal, I suggest you make it your new bff.

Remedy #2 – Booties. Wear them with everything. I repeat, wear your booties with everything.

While these tips surely won’t create world peace or anything of that nature, they’ll help keep you looking fashionable and at least a bit Fall like until the cooler temps arrive in full force. And I mean, that’s important too right?
