Story: Slotherhouse starts when Emily (Ambalavanar) returns for her last year at college. She wants to challenge the current popular president Brianna (Craven) for the role. However, she knows she isn’t as popular and doesn’t want to shake the boat too much.
When Emily has a chance meeting with a poacher, she gets offered a sloth. This is the catalyst for her to run for the president role suddenly gaining the popularity of the other girls in the sorority. However, as the campaign begins, people who are working with Briana start disappearing as the sloth shows a much darker side.
Verdict on Slotherhouse
Slotherhouse follows a sorority sister who adopts a cute little sloth to help her run for president of the house. However, it doesn’t take long before the sloth shows a much darker side and starts picking off the sisters as the election gets closer.
When it comes to the horror comedy sub-genre it takes a lot to think of something outside the box. This does that extremely well. It mixes the sorority-sister nonsense and influencer-demanding world of college with a slasher movie. While most of the sorority stuff is comical more than anything else. The wild adventures of the sloth go on the rampage slowly picking people off. This is a movie that completely understands the bonkers nature of everything. It will have you laughing throughout the whole time.
