Skylanders Battlecast launches today on iOS, Android and Kindle Fire. It’s a Skylanders themed trading card battle game that is played with both physical cards and the app.
Cards are sold in packs of 8 or 22 and are scanned into the app to access characters, spells and gear. In this way players build a deck of Skylander heroes to play opponents on the online Player vs Player mode.
Additional boosts and cards can be won by playing or making more physical purchases of the cards. Plenty of strategy, swapping and forward thinking will be required to win — and not just about how to save up all that pocket money to buy the most cards.
It looks like a great game and well worth checking out.
