Badulla District SJB MP Vadivel Suresh yesterday said all should join hands irrespective of petty political affiliations to put the country on the right track.
Suresh said that he is unable to look at, from the perspective of political parties, when the economy of the country is in crisis.
He was making a comment at the Badulla district Coordinating meeting held in Badulla on Thursday under the patronage of President Ranil Wickremesinghe.
The SJB MP said he participated at the Badulla district Coordinating Committee meeting and the discussion on food security which were held in Badulla under the patronage of President Ranil Wickremesinghe on Thursday. “I participated in these meetings on behalf of the people living in villages in the plantation sector and as a trade union leader representing the plantation workers”, he said.
