Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) Kegalle district organizer Lakshman Dissanayake arrested in connection with a murder was further remanded until October 14 by the Kegalle Magistrate yesterday (30).
Initially the police had not produced the suspect before the court physically because he was to be produced via online. However, the magistrate ordered the suspect to be produced physically before Court.
The victim’s mother who appeared before Court requested for a fair investigation into the case. The victim, S.Weerasinghe (38), a mother of one, was found dead at the SJB Kegalle district office in early September.
